How often should I see a dentist?
The American Dental Association recommends that patients visit a dentist every six months for a check-up and routine cleaning.
What can I expect at my first appointment?
Our main goal at your appointment is always to ensure you feel comfortable and understand everything that is happening. We’ll take X-rays as needed to give us a complete picture of what is happening in your mouth, as well as perform an oral exam. This exam will include a screening for oral cancer. Once your exam is complete, we will determine if any additional treatment is recommended. If it is, we will create a treatment plan for you and discuss your options.
